How does one submit a resume to World Airways?

According to the AirlinePilotCentral.com World page, they are hiring. However, there is no link to submit a resume. Pilot positions do not appear on the World website. They are not attanding DFW AirInc JobFair or the Aeroservice jobfair (as of yet).

Any ideas?
Thanks!

BTW- I understand that they are in the middle of a cooling-off period in negotiations, NOT looking to scab...just interested in the job when the dust settles.

You can send your resume to them via e mail. But they are not hiring now according to their web site. I sent mine in anyway.

770-632-8305 is their hiring hotline. It's updated periodically, esp. when they are hiring. It usually has the info you need to apply.

They like internal recs, so if you know someone there get them pulling for you. It's doable without tho - I used to be there and didn't know a soul when I sent them a resume.

You may want to wait until the negotiations are settled. If you applly now, they may think you'll be a scab pilot in case of a strike, then when you refuse they'll dump you from the system.

World took applications at the Atlanta job fair. They said they were planning on doing some hiring. I'm guessing they're now waiting for the current pilots/management battle to work itself.

The hotline tells you exactly what the requirements are and how to apply. I don't see any reason to wait.

Thanks All-

The Phone # is exactly what I was looking for.
The recruiter on that message indicated that they would be screening or interviewing in January...however that might not be the case b\c of the current labor issues. Nonetheless, I sent in my stuff. If they recruit me to scab, then obviously I don't want to work there.

On another note, how can I get a hold of a World Pilot?
> firstname.lastname @ WroldAir.com?

Thanks

Things Looking Up

Don't hesitate to send in your resumes. Here's the latest.

Another round of negotiations on the 23rd. I expect our contract to be resolved then.

Heard from the DO's mouth, PAX 744 in a year, prior to conversion, to work Africa and cruise ship business, not to mention AMC.

Rumors of F/A hiring in Jan. All this points to pilot hiring.

Now that is some good news.

Three weeks on and almost two off - hard flying unless that's your gig. A freind of mine is over there and his fingers are crossed that there will be no strike.

It's not that bad. The average would be two on and two off. The bid lines are cake, almost not enough flying. I bid home reserve recently, stayed home all month. My hair is only now growing back. :)

How many hours can a new FO expect to get per month?

How long is reserve?
