Anyone else see the 900EX at Atlantic LAS that rolled through the fence and ended up on Tropicana?? I would hate to be the line guys that didnt chock the plane... Im assuming it was the line guys.. Surely the pilots wouldn't have left the plane without the brake on. Thats a pretty plane too. Ive seen it.. N900Q

Well, if the aircraft had been choked the brakes would have been left off...the line guys usual get a bit ouchy when we lock it and leave it with the brakes on.

Do you work the red-eye?

I left right after it happened, and came back the next morning. I overheard 2 of the Atlantic management guys talking about it in the deli and was later confirmed by a ramper. Evidently the pilots went out to the Falcon and started it up (APU), and kicked the chocks out as they went back into Atlantic. The rest is history as the jet just started rolling by itself towards the fence and heavy traffic. It finally came to rest just outside the airport fence. The Falcon flew out the next day according to the ramper as I didnt see it anywhere. Word is, most of the problems came from car wrecks trying to avoid the plane and other traffic.
Sorry about my grammar, I'm nursing a hangover.
