Got the call from NJ this morning. Interview in Houston soon. I know its been discussed but couldn't find the old thread and wanted to ask anyone who has done this recently to PM me if they have the time.

Congrats on the interview. I was wondering when you applied, got the letter, etc. I'm supposedly getting close to my turn and I've been waiting almost a year now. Hope to get a call someday.

Mailed application package 01-28-02
Received "pending interview date" letter on 02-27-02
Faxed update on 05-15-02
Received e-mail request for update on 08-10-02, faxed it one day later.
Recieved call for interview on 10-01-02; interview on 10-14/15-02

I may have had some help, or not. Have a buddy who is C-X Capt. and he was going to put a recommendation letter in my file. Don't know if he had time to get it done yet.

Good luck, hang in there. Yes, prayers do get answered. I'm living with crossed fingers for the next 2.5 weeks.

Congrats on the NJ interview. Griz is right. Aviationinterviews.com is the place to go. The info is right on! There are two reports that are right on.
