Job Description
Looking for a fun and unique job opportunity that allows you to work outdoors?

We are looking for someone who likes to work outdoors to join our Hot Air Balloon Company. We fly 365 days a year (weather permitting) with our busiest days being Saturday and Sunday. Our Crew shift start times are based on the times of the Sunrise (Temecula) and the Sunset (Del Mar) and vary throughout the year. Experience with Hot Air Ballooning or Aviation is not required but would be a plus for this split shift (on call) position!

Job Description:
The Crew Chief will manage the ground crew while unloading the balloon from the chase vehicle and help unpack the balloon at the launch site. Once the balloon is in the air the ground crew then puts the fan and any other related items on to the trailer and then follows the balloon in the chase vehicle to the landing area. Once the balloon lands the ground crew assists the pilot at landing and helps passengers out of the basket. The crew then loads the basket, balloon and burners back onto the trailer. Once trained the Crew Chief will assist with training new employees.
