Horizon?

I usually do this every three months. Any news at Horizon? I saw they took a Q400 last month instead of a 700 next year. Is Horizon planning on staffing for the remaining RJ coming next year? Thanks for the info.

I just updated my resume at Horizon and was emailed back that they will not hire until 2005 now.

I read that they turned half a dozen CRJ-700 orders into Q400s. Much cheaper to operate according to the article.

They were'nt gonna hire until 2005? The main reason I posted today was because I heard rumor that they were gonna hire in OCT./NOV. for the Rj coming next year. I was seeing if anyone else heard the same. Looks like it was a typical rumor. How about this one, I heard Hozion is going to expand big time for F9 next year because the operation is going so well. Any comments?

Horizon is really where I want to work. I've been updating my resume for a year straight now. I think I'm cursed or something. Kim seems to be a straight shooter. She is the one that told me no hiring til 2005 but don't give up! They only hired 10 this year didn't they??

Amen brotha'! I have been updating for over a year now too. I have even had a senior RJ captain walk my stuff in and all LaMar said was keep being a squeaky wheel. Im pretty sure Im cursed. Its seems to be a real peculiar company. Im just gonna keep trying. I sure can't stay where Im at much longer, its killing me. Good luck!

Another UND guy at Horizon? Why don't they just call Horizon what it is...A UND postgrad program. Just kiddin guys...Don't get all bent out of shape....I went to UND and I really loved it. And yes the only reason why I am not at horizon right now is because I screwed up the sim ride. I'll admit it. I got friends there and they like it alot.

Horizon

I was trying to hired there before ASA called me. The latest I heard from Horizon, and this was about two weeks ago, was that they weren't going to resume hiring until early 2005. Good luck they're a nice bunch.

Looks like the Alaska Bid is coming out on the 13th which should pull some of the folks from QX out of the Alaska pool. Hopefully this will mean a class here soon. Things are frickin' stagnant.

I just got an email from Joanne today saying they aren't hiring until 2005 and then just a handful. Oh well, life goes on.

I remember the good ole' 1.50 pitchers at the down under. Go to the bar with 5 bucks walk away double fisting picthers and you are set for night! Not to mention you can play bartender and pour some drinks for the ladies.
