I never seem to hear anything about Horizon air in this forum. Does anyone have any info regarding this airline, as far as hiring or furloughing status. Quality of life at QX...etc.

A former Seattleite.

As of October 7th, Horizon will still have 23 pilots on furlough, and roughly that number of downgraded captains. One more airplane, a CRJ-700 is supposed to show up later this year, then 14 more between 2003 and 2005. I would suspect they would start interviewing next summer for hiring next fall, but that is a wild guess.
