Horizon Air?

Does anyone has any news about Horizon Air?

Are they hiring? What is the best way to send my resume?

I think they're listed as a participating airline at the September Air Inc job fair in DC. Maybe something is cooking.

Last I heard, they were not doing anything until next year. I guess their fall schedule wasen't what they thought it would be. We're all waiting with baited breath!!!

I don't think the hiring is going to be until next year when we take delivery of the six airplanes next year, which is supposedly going to be Q400's. We are getting two new CRJ's at the end of this year, but I don't think we are hiring for it.

Horizon Air

I was talking to one of the pilots and he told me that they were interviewing pilots right now for a january class. Anybody knows anything about that?
How can I get my resume in?

No Interviewing right now but...

If you went to the OBAP convention in Seattle last weekend, (I was there as a pilot rep) we took some resumes and informed people that there MAY be some hiring next year if we obtain the 6 RJ's that we supposed to get. We're currently in negotiations with Bombardier. We're definitely getting 2 RJ's in November which we already have enough pilots for, but everything else is up in the air. Stay tuned...
