Customer Flight Ops & Pilot Training Manager – 00048512
Description
This candidate will serve as the leader of the Customer Flight Operations & Pilot training organization, which consists of a team of FAA Air Transport Pilot (ATP) rated and licensed program pilots. This person will aggregate internal and external customer requirements to establish and deploy direction for the AES Customer Flight Ops & Pilot Training department. This person will have accountability for the team’s management processes and deliverables.
This candidate will report to the Director of Training Solutions & Customer Flight Operations Support organization, but will coordinate closely with other Aerospace organization leaders including marketing, customer service, after market sales, and development engineering.
Responsibilities includes:
Development of Customer Flight Ops & Pilot Training processes including customer value enhancements, production and sales of pilot training materials/pilot manuals, “train-the-trainer” pilot training, safety program and product integrity council support, internet/e-learning initiatives, support to industry activities, and AES ATR and BGA program support
Accountable for development and deployment of cross-functional production, sales, and marketing processes and strategies to enhance sales of pilot’s guides and derivative materials in alternative media
Accountable for services growth, revenue opportunities, improved safety, and increased value to the customer through collaborative projects, training / marketing presentations, resolution of in-service issues and cost reductions
Accountable for flight operations expertise to aircraft OEM’s and customer operators, as well as internal AES organizations including Customer Engineering, Training Solutions, Marketing, and Development Engineering
Accountable for ground and flight training support for Honeywell Customer Support, industry training providers, and OEM/customer operators
Basic Qualifications:
FAA ATP certificate with a Part 25 type rating.
5000+ flight hours
10 years operational experience.
Bachelor’s degree required
5 years minimum managerial experience
Additional Qualifications:
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well with other business leaders, peers, subordinates, and customers
Excellent written and verbal communication and teaching skills
