As Home Depot's newest lumber associate (times are tough, I'm lucky....GREAT company!) and fledgeling low-time commercial pilot, I'm curious about their flight department. I remember the Chief Pilot being in a FSI ad, but that was a long time ago. Are they with the fracs now? How large is the department?

Thanks in advance!

Home Depot fligh department

Home depot currently operates a Falcon 900, a Global Express, and a Cessna Citation II. They are based out of Atlanta Fulton County(FTY). I don't know who their current flight department director is, but it used to be Jim Cannon back in mid to late 1999. I heard that he is no longer there - I last dealt with him in late '99.

Jim is Cannon is no longer with the Depot. He is the Director or the CP, or both of a GIV operation in ATL. He is running the a/c for one of the retired founders of HD. The current CP at HD is Joe Coates. The last I knew of the fleet composition was 2 900B's a GLEX, and a Citation. I also know that they are getting or have recieved a 50EX. I'm not sure if the 50EX(s) are replacing the 900's or are in addition to.

I had heard the 50EX will replace the Citation, but I heard that a few months ago. Never know how times change.

I don't think their hiring at this time as they just hired someone to fill the vacancy about a month ago.
