So I tried to trade my LHR on the 30th for the repo's and I was #10 to call in... the same guys always get the trips...

The scheduler asked me if I used CCS max (3rd party app)... I said yes, She laughed and said that's the problem... Don't use it!!!

Did some calling around to a former scheduler friend who worked @ C/S during his furlough (2001-2004) and he informed me that there is a group of pilots that pays the programmer $15k a year to delay the trips by 1mins...

With a little research, it turns out the programer does the same at express for Capt Day trips...

You have been warned!!!

That's not what they do. They have two cell phones each, one is constantly in the queue for scheduling-all they have to do is hit one to get through. The company attempted to keep them from doing this but all it does is kick them out of the queue after twenty minutes, they just dial back every twenty minutes.

nope...
I had 3 phones going this morning... you can stay in the queue for about 2 mins...The C/P gave an hour window for the trips...

You need to know when to hit #1... they pay for a head start with ccsmx!

If they would go to open time assignment by seniority (like Delta) there would be no issues. How does CCS MAX slow down the alerts that go via text messages?

Don't know!!! but I have seen trips in open-time way before I get the alert!

However, there is a big thread about the delays in the trips in ccsmx on the express forums about it!!!

Lets not use creative swearing to express one's opinion, it just raises the temp and starts trouble.. thanks

!D#$%B%.............*F^%$SH*(!!!!!!

It this too creative? Not enough? I'm looking for a little guidance here?:D

So, what did these pairing look like? What was so great about them and why was the company doing repos?

I haven't seen the pairings but it's probably something like EWR-HNL-GUM-HKG...or something similar. They're generally very productive, and are usually 767 pairings which at CAL is widebody (777) pay......guys plan their lives around chasing this flying. The buzz created by one of these pairings is truly incredible to witness. Save the fact that the same guys seem to get them over and over all while the union and company seem to agree that they're not somehow cheating to obtain them.

They are cheating but no one seems to have figured out exactly how.

The multiple cell phones is only part of the plan...

The flights are MX repo's.
