Anyone have time in them? Were any produced with just one engine? Looks like a nice bird for private use if you have the $$$

I have experience mostly as passenger in the 1100. To my knowledge most were configured with the C-18 and C-20. Fun helo that can haul 5 with decent performance.
The particular 1100 I flew now sits in a pile on a hangar floor. Friend of mine was flying it when tail rotor slung a blade due to improper maintenance prior to when he owned it. Cost him his life, he was an IA who always performed thorough inspections prior to flying it. I can put you in touch with someone who knows the 1100 very well if you want to know more.
