Pilot in Command of turbo prop aircraft and Second in Command of large business jet aircraft. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to common and complex business aviation issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. As Pilot in Command is directly responsible for and is the final authority as to the operation of the aircraft. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing objectives. Responsible for effective crew resource and aircraft management. Ensures compliance with department standard operating procedures, department policies and procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual operations and limitations, Airman's Information Manual, and ATC instruction. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select solutions. May act as a team or project leader providing direction and information validation and team decision-making process. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business aviation issues.
