Unbelievably amateur. Question 2 is missing an answer option...

"F. ALPA uses the tens of millions of dollars of dues it already receives from 53,000 pilots at 38 airlines to pay for and implement CrewPass immediately."

End of story.

1. Please indicate the level of support that you personally have for CrewPASS implementation.*
Select One 5 - Strongly Support 4 3 2 1 - Strongly Opposed

2. CrewPASS has been approved by the federal government to expedite the passage of airline pilots into airport sterile areas via alternative security screening. It has not been implemented to date because U.S. airlines and the federal government are unwilling to pay for it. Which of the following best describes your views on ALPA’s advocacy for CrewPASS?*
a. Continue to advocate for airlines to pay for CrewPASS until it happens.
b. The government should pay for CrewPASS because it is a layer of security that protects national interests. ALPA should advocate for the government to pay for it.
c. The airlines and government should share the costs of CrewPASS because both benefit from it. ALPA should advocate for both to share its costs.
d. Create an immediate opportunity for pilots to purchase CrewPASS services for themselves on a strictly voluntary basis until permanent CrewPASS funding is established.
e. No opinion

3. Certain IT vendors have expressed an interest to ALPA in providing the CrewPASS service to individual pilots who are willing to pay for it themselves. As described to ALPA, the IT vendor would perform necessary coordination with the TSA and airlines, and the pilot would pay the vendor for the service through a payroll deduction. Do you believe that CrewPASS should be offered to individual pilots for their own purchase from an IT vendor on a strictly voluntary basis?*
Select One Yes No No Opinion

4. Which of the following responses best describes your probable reaction if an IT provider were to offer CrewPASS services for your purchase on a strictly voluntary basis?*
a. If the price were reasonable and I liked the service, I would probably purchase it
b. I would not purchase the service
c. No opinion

5. What would you consider to be a reasonable annual fee to pay for CrewPASS services? (Note: Any fees associated with CrewPASS would be paid to the IT vendor. ALPA would not receive any portion of individual pilot payments associated with CrewPASS.)*
Select One $25 $50 $75 $100 No Opinion

6. Please estimate the number of times that you are required to go through checkpoint security screening on a monthly basis.*
Select One Zero (0) 1-10 11-20 21-30 More than 30 Unknown

The only email address I could find on the ALPA website was [email protected]. I recommend everyone who reads this, copy this message, click on this email address, and paste it and send it.

This is my answer to the CrewPass Survey, Question Two:

F. ALPA uses the tens of millions of dollars of dues it already receives from 53,000 pilots at 38 airlines to pay for and implement CrewPass immediately. I have already paid for CrewPass--with my dues.

Thank you.
