I doubt Gulfstream and Boeing are running scared.

The BBJ is a much larger aircraft, and can carry more people(50), further(5510nm) than what Embraer is saying the 1000 will hold, 8pax and 4200nm.

Gulfstream also blows that away 8pax+4crew at 6500nm.

Not that I know much, but it seems to me, that it would fill a sweet spot bwtween the G5 and a BBJ!

Hope that thing only flies to airports that have 170/190 mx there...there are still FAR too many electrical gremlins on that plane to be a reliable corporate aircraft...
