Howdy!

My background is in remote area charter ops in the Australian outback. I have since relocated to the states and am now looking for a job. I have a US passport with 1450TT/1275PIC/Loads of cross country. I understand most jobs require you to meet the 135 mins, but unfortunatly i am about 50hours short on the night time.
Any ideas on what i can do besides hiring a plane for 50 hours? I am also low on multi so a regional is not likely to swallow me up anytime soon.

Really am at my wits end!

cheers

If you're willing to fly a summer in Alaska, you can probably get your foot in the door 135-wise by flying for a season with a day-only restriction initially -- not a problem, because it doesn't really get dark in the summer. The right company will work with you later on your night time. Your times sound competitive for a entry level wheel job. You can PM me for some places to check if you're interested. Good luck!

try airnet or ameriflight

airnet has a sic program where they will put you in the right seat till you get your hours

G'Day mate,

Your total time will not an impediment if you want to fly for a regional, however the other posts are pretty much on the money for building up your night flight time.

Best of luck.
