Anyone know the Frequencies for Houston radio . I need to test our radios
Freq for about 1500 miles out and afternoon time .
Thx, Steve

you might want to call them on the phone first for the frequencies and make sure someone is listing?

I was able to communcate with N.Y on 10075 this morning from the grnd in Ohio. They said Houston no longer monitors a radio. Speaking from the MX side, I think Pilots would almost always establish VHF comunication with a center before HF is attemped. Also I was told an account with ARINC is required to use this service.

From an old Houston HF Radio Primary Coverage Area chart dated Jan. 2003:

Southern USA & Northern Mexico: 3013/6637
East. Central & Western USA, Southern Mexico, Caribbean & Colombia: 13330 day/6637 night
Southern Canada & Northern South America: 17940 day/10075 night
