My PNT rollaboard died at the start of my commute. of course and now I have 4 days left of 6.

I want to get one now and not have to wait till I'm back in da A T L.

So....any crew stores near JFK??? anyone anyone

Headfake, head over to a Costco and grab their 'crew type' roller board. It's gotten excellent reviews here on FI and should tide you over just fine, if not longer.

I am not sure whether they have rollaboards or how much they cater to General Aviation. As far as I know it is the closest shop to JFK, at ~~ 11 miles east, on Long Island

just bought a new handle (telescoping one) and one side comes all the way out and then it can pivot on the good side. I know I could probably just bring the handle back...but I want a new bag. It's 9 years old. Metal is pealing from the bottom...pretty sharp, frame has warped over the years from being burried in the fwd cargo of an ATR for 8 years, rivets are coming loose and I've used a bunch of locktite to secure the screws on the top. Main zipper is seperating from the top flap where it runs over the frame on the top. That is my 2nd zipper too.

It's been to the shop once waaaaay back when. It just needs to be retired.

thanks for the info guys....I'll see if I can get a ride to the costco
