I need anecdotes for a story to appear in Business Jet Traveler magazine (I am not a rep of that magazine, however). We're writing about "My first charter trip." Everyone has a first kiss, a first martini, a first car accident, whatever. The key feature here,of course is memorability. It doesn't necessarily have to be your first charter trip, just an early one worth writing about. Would be better if it didn't involve a "near death" experience, since we're trying to promote the charter industry. We can't write about specific companies or individuals - you know "changed names to protect the innocent."

Examples of stories received so far are of the wrong customer/wrong destination/wrong baggage variety. Pretty funny stuff, nonetheless. One involved a passenger destined for Augusta, Maine that was taken to Augusta, Georgia. Etc., etc., etc.,....

Any good stories appreciated. My deadline is end of day, Monday, 2/28. I can embellish them, clean them up, or modify a bit, just be sure to tell me if you want your name mentioned or not. I can't pay you, but can provide a free FBO directory in return (not AC-U-KWIK). Feel free to pm me. Thanks.

Short deadline

We had a similar request on a site I run for corporate flight attendants and it got no responses. The reason? A short deadline! You might want to consider giving everyone more time to respond too. If you want responses from a cabin crewmember's perspective, feel free to post a similar message on my site as well.

When you do get published, please come back online and share a link. It sounds like an interesting topic. Have fun!
