Rick1128 said:Depends on the model. 800's are quiter inside the cockpit than earlier models. I have flown 600's and 700's without a headset with no problem. However, I do prefer to use a headset. Personnaly I like the Telex Airman 850. It is ANR and is more substantial than the Airman 750. Plus better earphones.
Raskal said:We use the telex airman deals with earplugs in and the radio up...not efficient and kind of retarded, but that's the way it is. The 700's are loud as hell but the xp and 1000 are a bit better. I've been really curious about those new telex ANR sets. Has anyone tried them in a 700?
