HAZ MAT Deice Fluid

Does anyone know if Type I deice fluid is considered hazmat under FAR135.... I would like to be able to carry a garden sprayer to abate frost and the like.

Not Hazmat. Here at Amflight we carry a garden sprayer in the nose baggage for just that purpose. You might want to check with your company though. The bottles tend to leak, especially if you fail to depressurize them before climbing to 15,000ft, not that I've ever done that of course.
