Kids these days

No, No, NO!

You dont get paid to do 135 sic in a jet with low time...you pay THEM.

Benefits? ROFLMAO.

The only thing they pay for is your beeper, and your GPS based tracking ankle bracelet so they know where you are at all times should you ever ignore your beeper during that 2am quickie flight phone call.

No, get with it. You fly jet charter, they own you, and you pay them for the privilege of flying the heavy iron.

Cheezzz....

T

By the way, where do i send my resume? I want in!!!!!

The Assman,

Benefits are Health, 401k, and paid vacation. Pay is industry standard for the right seat of the 800. Look at Professional Pilot magazine's survey salary..

Company pays for training. Pilots are Flight Safety trained.

Hope this helped,

Sooo....they're paying about 55k, then?(Pro Pilot results for Hawker 800XP/1000 FO for charter ops) Not too terribly bad I guess. Not great, considering it's in the TEB area where housing can't be cheap....but it's an entry level jet position, so not too bad.

Stay Away

Meridian (AKA Million Air TEB).
Low Pay, almost no-benefits. People on the 800 have been working 29 days straight, they'll lie about a schedule and possible advances within the company.

D.O. is a former SCAB from Eastern....

Pay is not low considering that there are thousands of pilots on the bread line. Benefits--2 weeks paid vacation, health and a 401K--sounds pretty good to me. As far as the schedule, it is a 135 operation, not a 121. But, you can't please everyone all the time. Remember, its harder to find a job when you don't have one. Plus, this maybe a chance for someone to gain experience to move on to something else ( a stepping stone ).

Just a side question. How tricky of a jet is the 800xp to fly compared to the Citation II ? Is the 800xp a tough transition if you have a good amount of hours (800+) in turboprops (dhc-6 and caravan).

800xp SIC

gear handle "up"
gear handle "down"
Clap your hands the rest of the time so I know your not touching anything.

There, your all checked out to be an SIC.:D
