Hey Guys/Gals, can anyone that has flow this airplane tell me a bit about it? I know the avionics are old. But how did you like the airplane? How well does simuflite do in training ya? Do they use a Hawker 700 sim or the 800? Thanks

Anyone? no one?

I have about a 1000 hours in a 700 and well it is not 800xp! I do enjoy what it can do for the cost. It is not a rocket ship. I flight plan 420tas and in the mid 30's if you climb it right you will get .70 plus. I have never seen more than .74 in the cruise, and I was pretty light! It is a comfortable machine. Are you looking to buy one? What else can I help you with?

It's old and it flies like it. It's stable, the windscreen is a fantastic speedbrake (just pull the power to idle during the descent and see what I mean). Easy to land but it can be a bit of a brick.

We have four of them plus some newer hawkers, they all fly very differently and I hate every one of the 700s :D

Serioulsy, it's a solid plane that is easy to fly if you keep your expectations within its abilities. Performs best in the mid-thirties.

The rapper Ludicris just bought a Hawker 700. You know it has to be a quality aircraft if rap singers are buying them...

Seriously, I have seen some nice EFIS-equipped 700s out there.
