Hey Dan Roman and Hal and all you HA guys -

Over on airliners.net they have some cool photo's of your new planes flying the SAN-HNL segments.

Even though we fly the 330's - i gotta say they look real good in your colors - and it does bring back memoriesfor me - as a teenager I used to spend summers in HNL watching your DC-8's and DC-9's and L1011's.

Yeah - even though you and I have had our back and forth words over the US east vs west thing - just from an aviators' point of view - that is one nice looking plane! and it is nice to see it being a success for your company. I hope to get to fly on it in the future.

In other words, I'm kissing your ass. Will you get me an interview.

Thanks Metro, and your post cuts to the fact that we are all pilots and have a lot more in common than what some of the posts on here would have many believing. Despite our differences over USAPA, it's not personal. I am firm believer in never judging people based on a few Internet posts, if you do, you'll be wrong.
I was an Allegheny Commuter pilot many moons ago and still have a lot of good friends at USAir. So I have a soft spot fot USAir and do wish you guys the best. Hawaiian has certainly seen tough times in the past, the fact that we are doing well now just proves how cyclical this industry is.
