My company uses Delta's 727 simulators in Atlanta for our training. I've heard that some of the flight instruments such as the flight director and ADI are a little different than some. Most of the 727's that I fly are ex AA. Is anyone by chance familiar with the differences? Thanks

Dual cue flight directors and a standard HSI. The rest is standard steam gage stuff.

I have flown deltas 727 simulators. They fly OK. I think they retired the 727-5 which was a Western simulator. The rest of them have fairly good realism. You really need to memorize the pitch and power settings and it will simplify things greatly. They all have bank and pitch steering bar flight directors and block 5 autopilots which have altitude capture. send me a private message if you need any further pitch and power gouge for apchs. Best of luck, old school
