If you have a pilot group willing to fly anything for a 50 seat RJ rate, why doesn't skywest holdings company just create a temp agency where other airlines with staffing issues can get cheap pilots?

FishFly or whoever you are...you are a F*king retart.

Where do you work? I guarantee my agreement with SkyW blows your "contract" out of the water.

Correct we're not ALPA (thank you Jesus)
The raise we're getting some don't feel is enough.

But hey @sshole...can you tell me one ALPA regional this year that is getting any, I repeat any raise?

If you can please do.

If you hate this industry so much why dont' you do the rest of us a favor and get the F*k out.

Probably for the same reasons whore jets is such a disaster. You can do it, but it will cost you in the long run.

Good question. I think the problem with outsourcing SkyWest pilots is that, as a single cost, they cost significantly more than other 50/70 seat pilot groups. The combination of work rules and profit-sharing plans puts SkyWest pilots in the top tier of the compensation ladder. BTW FishandFly SkW is hiring right now. PM me if you want more info. Cheers!

:D

First off, I don't hate this industry..

The problem I have is that my upgrade will never come because you and your pilot groups' willingness to undercut others. It is your mentality that is going to allow SKYW holdings to continue to whipsaw us.

Thanks for that..

There are many ALPA regionals that will get raises this year. All have negotiated bumps in their pay rate every year following the date of signing of their contract. This is in addition to the longevity pay raise each year.

The only carriers that don't get a pay raise would be those past their amendable date, like ASA.

I think their management will put a contract out on them if they start standing up for themselves.:D

Considered? Why don't you ask a 700 pilot at Comair that question?

Actually we still get annual pay raises unless you have topped the 18 year scale.
