Harrah is still looking for pilots.I heard that there gone a lot is this true. Also what aircraft do they?

They just got rid of the C-X's and replaced them with (2) Falcon 2000EX with the Easy cockpit.

One pilot washed out of 2000 training and they moved her over to an office job. I think they are still looking.

I know the Chief Pilot at Harrah's and the last time we spoke, he mentioned that they were flying at least 800 hrs. per year with the C750's. If you're not prepared to be on the road for a substantial amount of time, and you don't meet the mins, I wouldn't bother applying.

750driver how come you don't get on with them? Also how many days a month would you be gone?

Psysicx, for me it's the schedule. My wife had twins a few months ago and the workload is high. Exponentially higher with multiples than with a single infant. That, coupled with the fact that all our family resides out of state ... I just don't want to place that kind of burden on her, being on the road 800+ hours per year.

Unfortunate for me because that places difficult restrictions on finding a new corporate flying position. Harrah's is a good firm and the CP is nice guy based on my experience with him. This is a good position for the right pilot. Best of luck to you :)

BTW - not sure about the trip lengths. Maybe someone else can answer this one?

When I was in Paa-hoenix flying with fighter combat there was a pilot there who worked for Harrah's. He said the equipment is great, but he flies alot. His company paid for him to fly with FCI for 3 days doing aerobatics and all sorts of fun stuff. I wish I would have gotten his number as it would have been a good person to know. He was based out of Vegas. Oh yea, I know Harrahs has casinos in Reno and Kansas as well.

How many days on the road is that and how many off.Good luck on finding work in Phoenix,Honeywell just posted another add.

It is my understanding the position has been filled.

That what I hear too. They hired a "local" guy. Harrah's fly about 650 hours a year per pilot with lots of RON's. One guy said he was off 7-10 days per month

It might as well be a charter operation. Only difference being that instead of paying an hourly fee for the aircraft, these suckers, or uhh, I mean pax, pay at the tables so to speak.
