Regardless of company affiliation, union status, flight crew position, political leaning, or any other division that may separate us, Happy Thanksgiving to all. The one tie that binds is this stupid, wild ride of aviation and I'm actually thankful to be a part of it.

I'm also thankful (among many things) that:

I'm not one of the poor guys stuck in a hotel in Brazil for endless weeks because of a political agenda well beyond their control.

Guys like Diesel and Wolfpack and others can make me (occasionally) chuckle about some new absurdity in our little slice of the world.

My career is beyond where 10 years ago I hoped it might be.

I'm lucky enough to work with friendly, professional, and competent people the overwhelming majority of my time at work.

I have great friends to hang out with and a wonderful wife (who really should know better) that puts up with me.

And,

There are thousands of brave, volunteer military men and women willing to risk everything to perform their duty for a sometimes ungrateful or misguided government and citizenry.

I hope all of you have much to be thankful for as well.

Very well said, Gutshotdraw!

Enjoy your Thanksgiving with family and friends. That's a combination that can't be beat.

Couldn't have said it any better.

I'm just thankful to the Elastic waistband pants we get for work. They will work nicely during turkey day.

My wife who brings in that cargo paycheck and who's main gear assembly is heavier than my whole airplane.

And my friends who have made one of the toughest years I've ever had bearable.

Oh and to Al Gore for the internet. :)

Like I said Diesel, you (occasionally) make me chuckle. Happy Turkey Day to ya.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Right back at you gutshot. :)

I'm sitting hot standby in PBI tomorrow. If any of you are in the neighbourhood swing by and I'll share my L3 with you :)

I too chuckle at our different opinions, but I also believe our differences are far outweighed by our brotherhood in this great profession we call aviation.

Happy thanksgiving all.
