Define "Irony"

Boyd, on CRJ-900s, on July 12:

"Don't kid yourself. Delta is putting the squeeze on Pinnacle," said Michael Boyd, principal at The Boyd Group in Evergreen, Colo. "These are bigger regional jets, but they are still planes Delta would rather not have."

Boyd, on E175 and CRJ-900s, on Aug 18:

"These jets are vital as the airlines have to pare down where they're flying and when," said Michael Boyd, president of The Boyd Group, a Colorado aviation consultancy. "They need efficient options that take the right number of people the right distance. These planes close what was once a big gap."

LOL! In just 38 days, Boyd takes makes a complete 180 on his views regarding the CRJ-900s. Just more proof that what Boyd says is dependent on who is paying him.

I've been saying for years that despite his claims of being a visionary, Boyd is really a historian. He says things he thinks his audience wants to hear then bids for work.

So Mesaba will eventually get 27.... Funny we already have 28 of the 36 supposedly coming... Maybe even up to 29 now, it's been a while since I had to work.

I'd say that's dead on the mark.

He's just giving good advice that you just didn't take. And who would've thought, it figures.

Is that irony the way rain on your wedding day is irony?

;)

According to Atlantis Morisset it's also like the "free ride when you've already paid. It's the good advice that you just didn't take!" Yeah! She says it all! I'm really bored right now on Reserve that's the only reason I put this on here! Case in point, reserve can make anyone go crazy!

That's not ironic, it's just bad luck.
