Why are the last two passenger windows on a gulfstream different? or at least appear to be different.

It looks like they have an extra ring or something around them.

I have asked a lot of people and haven't got a good answer yet.

These are type I emergency exits. This size is no longer alowed on newly designed aircraft, they require the larger type II exits (a large rectangle with a window in the middle). Gulfstream originally certified under CAR 4B, which later was superceeded by Part 25. The GIII through the G550 is grandfathered in under the original type certificate.
