The Gaut: A much alluded creature, comes out on every 3rd day of the month, to create much havoc on web boards such as this one. Afterwards he, much like the boogeyman, returns to his natural habitat under the beds of six year olds. He is very very proud of himself for his complete lack of balls, and the fact that he flies a 152. Once upon a time there was a web site for the gaut, but it is gone now, everyone hopes that some day the gaut web site will return because it created much laughter in the homes of pilots all over america....

I don't think he would be allowed to jumpseat unless he got special permission.

He was working in the chief pilot office when I met him. Seems like a good kid to me. His judgement to put up that web site, however, ... is questionable.
