What is the age limit to apply to a Air National Guard unit? Does that change if prior service/rated aviator status?

No age limit to apply per se, but you have to start UPT by your 30th birthday. Plan on 1-1.5 years to get through the paperwork and OTS. So I would say you better be starting the process by 28.5 at the latest. It is possible to get age waivers, but pretty tough. Hope this helps!

Slide33,

My SUPT class began the month before my 33rd birthday. At that time, I was a current and qualified navigator. My unit obtained an "exception to policy" which applied to navigators being displaced by our aircraft conversion. The only catch, SUPT had to start by the candidates 33rd birthday.

Best Wishes
