In an effort to become more smarter about this bumin thing, I'm looking to get some clarification...

I'll be departing AD to the ANG in the state adjacent to mine (for a traditional guard flying gig). The AF base in the town where I live has ample IMA opportunities (non-flying). Since I may be trying to bum for a while, I'm trying to better understand how the whole IMA thing works. Can I be an ANG guy and work an IMA position managed by AFRES (I'm pretty sure they administer those positions)??

Cheers

If you haven't already tried, I believe that your question may be better answered at www.baseops.net and go to the message board. Goodluck.
