I have been told that to be considered for a fighter slot at a Guard unit, pilot score on AFOQT must be 90 or better. do you agree? Thanks for your help.
I would agree. I checked with my buds in fighter units that this is usually the case (one F15 unit requires 95). But it is of course, specific to that particular unit. Get the book at Barnes & Noble (do a search here) and study hard. A higher score helps determine success at pilot training (yeah - uh huh), but it is mostly a factor to weed out applicants.
