Anybody had a problem with custom made models from Griffin Aerospace? I'm trying to collect some information for a small claims lawsuit I'm going to file against them. I did find out that they have an "UNSATISFACTORY" rating with the Better Business Bureau.

I bought an MD-80 model in Vanguard livery from them off eBay a couple of years ago. It seems that they make more than one copy when they get a commission, so they offered their extra one up on eBay and I just happened to do a search just before the auction closed. I found out that a guy I worked with at Vanguard had ordered one, and I got the spare for less money than he spent. I remind him of this fact once in a while.

I had no problem with any of my dealings with Griffin. They have modelers in the Philipines doing their work - if they did it in the US the models would cost a couple of thousand dollars each. The ball might have gotten dropped over there. I've been considering having them make me a model of the ATP I flew at UFS, so if you get boned in the end, let your homies here on the forum know.
