Hunt Pheasants. Been there bird hunting a few times when I was younger. Many, many birds.

Not sure about now, but you could spit from one end of town to the other with a good breeze. I also remember a small strip bar with a dancer who had a nice scar running up her chest, ugh!!!!

A 10-day non-resident pheasant license used to cost $100. I'm certain that the price hasn't gone down, so hunting might be out of the question.

I'm sorry about your situtation but you're really in the middle of nowhere in Gregory. The nearest civilization is Pierre, and even that town sucks.

I suggest taking your entertainment along with you...computer, books, whatever. It'll probably be the longest three days of your life.

I would like to hunt, but the boss didn't invite us !

Road hunting is allowed in SD. I was in Winner, SD several years ago for a week and went hunting with some locals who took me out. We just drove around looking for the birds. Usually morning or late afternoon, the birds will be along side the road eating gravel, (It helps them digest their food).

The locals are very friendly to the hunters, and if you ask politely, they will often let you hunt their land. However, expect to be asked to pay $75 - $100 per head to hunt on someones land. A small price to pay if you like to hunt pheasant.
