Anyone know the latest 'bout Great Plains?

Specifically: PAY, BENNIES, JS AGREEMENTS or any other helpful info would be highly appreciated.

Thanx fellow pilotos.

Hey, I hear they got some more airplanes, props. I am not sure about the pay, but no union. They are operating in AMR's stomping ground, and when they first announced non-stop to LAX and other places, AMR did the same thing. Non-stop to the same spots. What would you rather be on, an MD-80 or a 328. I wish them the best, but it looks like the nails for the coffin have arrived, it is just a matter of what order to put them in. Nothing against Great Plains, I think you had a good idea.

Yes, it appears that new airplanes (Do328 "Jet-props") are a done deal. We have crews in training and recalls occuring.

Nothing has changed regarding pay and benefits that I know of, but then I know very little. Relatively decent 1st year pay, health and dental, 401k no match. No union. Mostly day trips (TUL) with a couple of OKC overnite trips - all of which could change with new flying. JS agreements with most domestic carriers except (I think) NWAirlink and a couple of others.

Do you have an interview? PM me if you need more than this.

I hope Great Plains makes it!! But, for Chr*st's sake if you promote yourself as an Oklahoma company then serve Daylight donuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well put Wil.

I would hate to see them leave, but the writing seems to be on the wall.

The props are old Air Whiskey birds. I think GP is going to do one more C check for us (PSA) than that's it.

Hang in there Swaazye and everyone else, hope the hometown airline sticks around.

See ya at 3frogs.

Thanks for the BNA rides.
