Great Plains - Out of Business (?)

I just heard that GPA turned in a turboprop today and the other will be returned tomorrow. The jets are still on the ramp but unusable due to engine problems or something. I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about this. It is very sad if it is true.

I also heard the same. They are no longer going to operate.

I can confirm that at least one of the DO-props is on AVcraft's ramp at KCAK. Then again it's kind of easy to spot amongst all of the old PSA birds in US Air express colors. It's kind of a shame that GPA painted the things only to lose them in the end. Anybody know what AVcraft plans to do with all of these Dorniers piling up at CAK??
