Instead of a big hotel, why not a quaint little inn....i love this place and thought i would share it with you. The Makai Inn on Maui. i stayed there right before Xmas. delightful. rates are not ridiculous, right on the beach. close to everything.
just type in Makai Inn on your search engine and it will take ya right to it.
lots of pics, and info. lots of AA crews stay there for getaway time. good for the nerves, not alot of people.
let me know how ya liked it if ya go!!! :D

if you know far enough ahead of time the Kamanole Nalu in Kihei gives airline employees discounts for their timeshare, quiet beach, quiet town, half hour from lahaina 20 minutes to the airport.

yeah i know about the makai inn. havent stayed there but have heard about it from other fa's. queen latifly i think we have flown together. i recognize you in your pic. pm me,will let ya know my base and sked. i have a pic too. im sure you will recognize me 2!

Napili Bay!!! I've been to Maui 3 times, twice was at this place.. If you read Frommers it mentions the Napili Bay Room 201... I've stayed there and it is AWESOME for the $$$.... I paid less than $80.00 a night for this place which is sooo close to the ocean, you could spit in it from the lanai...Napili is past Ka'anapali and right before Kapalua (which I have also stayed at and if you have the money would suggest as well). This is a smaller beach and more protected from bigger waves, sharks, and people, which makes for much better snorkeling.....Just my .02 cents
