This may be a silly question but can a person commute and work for Great Lakes? Not that Denver would be a bad place to live but its pretty far from the house in Florida and the husband...
 
I did the commute for three years from DEN to MSP and it was terrible. Full loads all the time and hardly ever an open jumpseat. I think it would be even worse in your case. My advice would be to move. I finally did and life is a whole lot sweeter. Commuting, no matter how easy or difficult just adds up to a lot of wasted time.
