Well, I'm sure we'll hire as many of them as want to come, but they won't have any more control over where they live and fly than the Regions pilots who thought they'd be getting a STL base.

Lakes doesn't have the aircraft or the crew resources to take over any flying. They have a hard enough time covering the current schedule.

My appologies to the Big Sky guys. Skywest is still looking for pilots, we'de be happy to have a lot of you guys come over. Good Luck.

I thought Big Sky was bought by Mesaba a few years ago. No?

Big Sky was bought by MAIR, which was Mesaba's holding company.

Then there was the scope fight with XJ ALPA, NWA bought XJ from MAIR after both went into bankruptcy, and now MAIR has pulled the plug on Big Sky.

What will Paul Foley do?
The same thing he's always done: absolutely nothing while collecting a big paycheck. I'm sure that Steenland has a cushy yes-man job for him at NWA to thank him for his years of service in screwing over Red Tail feeder pilots.
