This was in todays edition of the Rocky Mountain News, Page 8B

Great Lakes Aviation outlook not so bright

Great Lakes Aviation said in a regulatoy filing that a shortage of cashto repay debts and its heavy dependence on bankrupt United Airlines raise doubt about its ability to stay on business.

As of December 31, the companies liabilities exceeded its assets, and it was in arrears on nearly all of its aircraft debt and lease obligations.

When HASN'T Lakes been in jeopardy of going under? It's been one of those "bound to happen" things for, oh, I don't know, the last century or so.

(RAP WITH ME!)

You gotta love it

When they give it

Everything it takes

Our boys are oiled

up the booty

Never get no breaks

Let's whack it for the pud

It's Great to be at Laaaaakes!

Our craft is hard,

and loud and bumpy,

Kinda like a brahma

My wallets thin,

my wife is fat

from eatin at my mommas'

Don't be wishful,

don't be hate-in

You got what it takes,

You polish up the Rockports

And you work at Laaaaaakes!

(Rock on you guys)

A few years ago, someone on this board left this great quote:

"After nuclear holocaust, there are two things that will survive... Cockroaches and Great Lakes."

I just hope that the article is NOT true for our colleagues flying for Lakes.

jeopordy bs. we are doing fine just remember we are in contract negotiations of course everything they say will be that they are poor. In fact they having been saying that when they were United express.
