Anyway, here's an easy way to determine a great circle route with a globe
and a piece of string.

Put one end of the departure city. Put the other end on the arrival city.
Pull tight. You now have a great circle distance.

CE

Tomorrow, how to make a cold fusion reactor in your own home.

Thank you guys. Pretty simple I guess. Some people, when teaching, try to make it harder than it really is sometimes. Thanks for your help.

Thank goodness...since we went to gps, we no longer have to wear gloves to do our jobs.

Sometimes that's because they may not truly understand it themselves and stuff the explanation with a lot of non-essential information to make it more convincing or persuasive. Things can be worded too extensively, with a surplus of words that really end up just confusing the student/listener. I've always found that the simplest explanation is the best. Most complicated things are best presented in their most fundamental terms. From there, one can continue to narrow the understanding of each component to fortify the broader explanation once grasped.

I would vote MetroSexual off in a haeart beat if at all possible.

Real aviators help others, something pre puberty teen would not know how to accomplish. Further explained by the fact that Metro has more posts then total time, is hung like a tic tac and could not get a 10 dollar combodian hooker with a 100 dollar bill. It is very apperant that you derive your own self worth by making others feel inadauquate, is this to cover up your own inabilities? I'll bet you have more book knowledge then flying skills, and can't apply either at a critical time.

Stick to single pilot flying, less a real pilot finnally school you and break your heart. Unlees of course your mommy is the flight stew, and then you can just point cry and complain that someone is being mean to you. learn how to play in the sand box, and never miss a good opertunity to STFU.

You are in the minorty!
