Is anyone utilizing the GPS moving map feature in Flight Deck? If so what GPS units are people using.

I recently purchased a USB GPS from a local big box store and it would never lock into more than 2 Satelites. I spoke to Jeppesen's tech support and they are pretty tight lipped about which units they would recommend. So I figured I would go to the source and see if anyone out there has had any luck, and if so, what units you guys are using.

Thanks in advance.

We have a couple of dirt cheap USB GPS units that were bought from Ebay. I think the most important thing is the positioning of the units. On the 604, there is only one spot that they seem to get a signal, most likely the heated windshield is blocking the relatively low power GPS signals.

Anyway, they work great, gives you great SA especially for taxi operations.
