Watch out the IRS could be monitoring and will soon be after you to explain how and where you received that much income.

Right away they will think drugs , prostitution, gambling.

My accountant said that I have to be open with them and tell the truth even though they might not beleive that a company would give that to a pilot as a 6 month bonus.

;)

But then again it comes from a massive company called Raytheon.
can they afford this?

Maybe the IRS will beleive it since after all Raytheon is a Multi Billion dollar company and their pilots are working 14 hours days and are away from their families 6 months a year.

It would be the least they could do for their dedicated employees.

I am sure nobody will disagree that the pilots earned every penny they received with the Q2 and Q3 bonus.

it's literally a gas card? like a gift card? i'm confused/ignorant/sick. help a brother out.

It's a Visa gift card for $26.00 that is for our "fuel incentive" on how much money we saved the company this quarter on fuel. Last quarter's was only $12 and they said they didn't bother, so this $26 is for TWO quarters.

RED LINE... that's my speed.

Buying the union vote

Here is a calculation I found:

$26 divided by the 6 months (2nd and 3rd quater bonus)
is $4.33 per month divided by 16 days a month we all work is 27 cents per day divided by the 14 hour duty day is 1.9 cents per hour.

So there you go your bonus is worth 1.9 cents per hour to management.

Why do I get the feeling that Flight Options is trying to buy the union vote?

:(
