Was wondering if anyone had any good ideas regarding reserve jobs. I am currently in a CAT E position (ALO), but was looking for a different line of work. I'm interested in continuing in a points only position, maybe something along the lines of CAP. If you know of a great job to do for points only, I'd love to hear about it, along with the pros and cons. I'm in the Air Force reserves with about 5 years until retirement. Thanks in advance for the info!

depends on where you are living. southcom in miami is looking for folks, might be more work than you want though and its non flying.

I started out ANG and retired (non-rated) ARNG.

Have you considered a transfer to the ARNG? I did..wound up non-rated for my entire career..and am flying airline. A non-rated position works very well with an airline job. I know there are non-rated Air Force jobs, but there are more non-rated jobs in the Army.

If you have military experience other than flying, this might be worth checking out.

Good luck...fly safe!
