The arbitration award was released today after 2 years on file. APA (American pilots) lost all three of their grievances and ALPA (Eagle) won their one grievance. A letter was sent today from the Eagle president to the ALPA president stating that a large vacancy bid is being released on the 14th or 15th. This bid will be open for all "Eagle" pilots and "no" AA furloughs will be flowing back on it. This a good news for beggining the long awaited process of coming back to the line for our furloughs. Also last week, 24 recall letters were sent out (20 ATR SJU and 4 SF3 LAX) - this leaves about 200 pilots still on furlough. I hope many or all of you found better jobs and don't have to come back here, but if you do, its looking better for you. Of course in this business things change fast, but todays news is a serious victory. Well see you all back soon.

It is about time we have SOME good news here to smile at!! Let the captain upgrades continue for Eagle pilots!
