Schools in the Bay Area

Anyone have a favorite part 61 school in the Bay Area?

I suggust that you go to www.ssa.org and follow the links (About Soaring > Where to Fly). You'll find several places to fly within a reasonable drive from the Bay area.

I took some glider lessons at an active gliderport in Middletown (between Santa Rosa and Clearlake) a few years ago. Don't know if it's still there, but it was cool when I went there. I think there might be some sort of soaring activity in Calistoga, too.
