I just finished the Gleim FIRC and will be sending out my paperwork for the ACR service within the next day or two. I do have a question on the 8710 that they have you complete online, though.

When they asked what kind of pilot certificate I hold, I of course chose "Commercial Pilot." However, under "certificate number," they had my CFI number already prefilled (i.e. xxx0927CFI, instead of simply xxx0927). The issue here is that they use that same field interchangeably on their paperwork to list my pilot certificate number and my CFI number.

So, on the actual 8710 form, it now lists "Commercial Pilot," with "Certificate Number" being xxx0927CFI, and not what it really is. On their official identification form, it lists my CFI number correctly.

So, should I send out the 8710 with my Commercial certificate number being xxx0927CFI, or should I just drop the "CFI" from the number?

When I re-newed my CFI online I didnt have to fill out an 8710. The CFCFII has no time requirement.....so after you initial CFI checkride...why would they need another one.
