Hello,
I'm a fixed wing guy (yes, I fly cessnas) and would like to use my VA benefits (GI bill) to get my rotary wing add-ons.

I live in Ohio, and have been researching schools, and have seen the following so far, and would love input or suggestions on others.

-Precision, in Oregon
-Helicopter Adventures, Titusville
-Vortex, Mississippi

I can get free rent in the Boston and parts of California (family mooching) and would like to avoid a major uproot of the family or a long separation from them.

Any help on any of this, greatly appreciated.

kind of rowdy there. there are a civilized and some what 'no holds barred' forum there.

Northeast Helicopters from what I hear is a great VA approved school in Ellington, CT, about 90 minutes from Boston. I work with two pilots that have trained there and they have nothing but nice things to say.
