I've got the Commercial-Multi, and instrument ratings by taking the military equivalent exam. However, since I flew tweets and C-12's, I was not able to get a Single Engine Commercial.

Can anyone tell me if there is an easier way to obtain this rather than going through all the normal FAA procedures (written, practicle)? I've got a private license with about 120 hours.

By the way, I browsed over the FAR's and couldn't really find anything.

Thanks for the info.

I'm thinking about flying divers, instructing, or VFR part 135 to supplement my guard bumming and build some more total time. My active duty orders end in a few months.

Has anyone on this board ever gone back to get a Single Engine ticket after you already had the Multi?

Of course my CFI is 6 years old and I've been out of the FARs for a while I could be wrong...
That didn't sound right.

You only have to pass the checkride in the plane. I did my commercial single engine add on to my commercial multi engine centerline thrust thing after UPT. I had my private single engine and also about 145 before UPT. Good luck.

I did this last year...

I never got my commercial single engine ticket punched at the FSDO when I was current in the Viper, so I had to do the practical test last year. That's all you have to do is fly the practical, since you're already a commercial pilot.

Check the commercial PTS closely, since you don't have to do everything that a first time commercial pilot would have to do.
